Date night complete with:
I spent Sunday wondering around Brick Lane market and the quirky streets of Shoreditch. I was after some salt beef from Beigel but the queue was far too long so settled for an organic brunch at Trade (http://www.trade-made.co.uk) which turned out not be settling at all – the food was delicious.
My outfit for the day…Burberry silk trench and red shoulder bag, Zara jeans, my mother’s beanie and shabby converse

…in beautiful Cannes. A wonderful week in the South of France would not have been complete without a trip to Cannes. We enjoyed an easy dinner in the Vieux Port, followed by cocktails on the beach at Plage CBeach.

The 70’s revival continues…
At first glance the new Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2015 collection did not impress me as much as I was hoping. As I started to examine the individual pieces, I completely fell in love with the unusual and unique looks they have created for next season. These are the things that inspired me most…

East meets West – A fantastic exhibition on at the Saatchi Gallery for those who love advertising & pop art…The exhibition brings together 250 works by 110 artists from China, the Former Soviet Union, Taiwan, the UK and the USA. Pop Art has had such a powerful influence over artists from world regions that have had very different and sometimes opposing ideologies.
Of course, I dressed to match in military style!
My outfit for the day…Mango black belted coat jacket, high collared white Topshop shirt and a calf skin Burberry clutch.

In January I had the great pleasure of attending the most spectacular Indian wedding in New Delhi. Of course the question that plagued me for weeks before the trip was what on earth do I wear?? This is where I landed up…
Engagement party – I wore a beautiful gold, purple and pink Lehenga from well priced shop called Goldy Nest
Mehndi – Pyjamas. I was meant to wear a beautiful emerald sari but was struck down with dreaded Delhi Belly
Ceremony – For the morning event, I wore a fitted black and white dress from French Connection, sparkly gold Saint Laurent shoes and a lilac pashmina.
For the evening event, I wanted to wear a gown with a touch of Indian glamour so added a pearl Maang Tikka (head jewellery) to a black BCBG long dress. I also wore my gold Saint Laurent shoes and a gold pashmina and a purple Burberry python clutch.
Before going I received a list of rules, don’t wear white as it’s the colour or mourning, don’t wear black as it’s not fashionable etc. Women there wore every type of dress (traditional as well as western) in every colour…
Lesson learnt…wear anything as long as it’s fabulous.
